Welcome To My Substack!
There is no ‘one size fits all’ or master way of eating blueprint. One simple reason for this is that we live in different environments with different climates so different produce grows. I
If you live in a cold country like Iceland, then appropriate healthy food choices will be wildly different to those in a hot equatorial country like Costa Rica.
Winter is a time of scarcity and summer is a time of abundance when it comes to crops. Our bodies have evolved to have different nutritional needs when the seasons change.
Making artificial summers in winter with artificial light after sunset, heating on full blast and eating high carb food or out-of-season fruit goes against our biology. Using the cold, dark and a low carb winter-way of eating turns the winter blues into winter re-charging.
Food contains energy, nutrients and information. Most people have never considered the ‘information’ in food, focusing solely on macros and calories. This is the old way of thinking about food, but it can still be useful.
If everything about nutrition revolves around macros and calories, why are so many people sick, tired, and overweight?
With advances in understanding of quantum physics, looking at the quantum information in food as well as its nutritional content makes it easier to choose foods that are appropriate for our location and the time of year. When we look at food through a quantum lens it’s easier to understand why some so-called health foods are not healthy at all.
